Thirty years ago Leslie Howard set forth his
musical credentials in a very successful debut series of three
Wigmore Hall piano recitals, and his international career has
never looked back: he is the most prolifically recorded solo classical
pianist, and his artistry continues to engage audiences around
the world. His anniversary series of three recitals reflects the
breadth and depth of his musicianship. Howards great themes the
music of Beethoven, Liszt, the Russians and the Scandinavians
are all represented, and the juxtaposition of acknowledged masterpieces
alongside rare revivals shows his unparalleled skill at constructing
